Our pride is also the skill to highly personalize all our models in order to adapt them to the customers' different needs.
Impressions and pictures of the booth
We are very satisfied with the results of this edition of Vitrum and, as every year, the first thanks go to all those who have visited our stand and given us the opportunity to demonstrate the quality that our machines are able to offer.
Absolute novelty 2017 was the solution we presented for the integration of a Kuka robot with two of our 11-wheel edging machines, one of which was positioned in line with the open top washing machine model OT 2000/500/4S.
Thanks to the strategic partnership of the German company Knittel Glass with Kuka for the supply of robots, we can now offer new, flexible and customized integration solutions with the following advantages: increasing of automation levels, flexibility, productivity, production optimization and costs reduction.

The PLM IOT i-Like Machines software developed by Holonix (Milan Polytechnic spin-off) and installed on the TLR 13 AV C PC mitering machine also attracted a huge interest. The software, which we have offered demonstrations of use during all four days of the fair, aims to collect the machine data in order to monitor its use by both the manufacturer and the user. Some pictures of our booth
This year's edition of GBA has been very special for us because we’ve had the occasion to officially present our recently established US company: LATTUADA NORTH AMERICA INC., based in Northwood (OH).
In our booth all visitors have had the chance to meet Mr. Joseph Gates, who manages a qualified and highly professional technical assistance service for our LNA and Mrs. Kelly Gates, person in charge for the administrative office.
We’ve always invested a lot in the North American market, and considerably strengthened our presence in US over the last 10 years, also thanks to the excellent work of our local sales network. So we have decided to establish this new company to better follow this key-market and offer so many benefits to all our US customers.
A special interest has been arisen from our 13-wheels mitering machine, model TLR 13 AV C. It has allowed us once again to demonstrate the possibility to process great thicknesses and big glasses and to personally test the final quality we can offer.
We thank all those who have visited us during this event!

To personally test the Lattuada quality...
This year we will be present with a larger area and with more models, all perfectly operative and they will work no-stop during the four exhibition days.
An absolute novelty will be the integration of a Kuka robot with two Lattuada edging machines. This has been made possible thanks to the start of the partnership with the German company Knittel Glass.
The proposed solution will consist of two edging machines for the processing of flat edge with arris with 11 wheels, a fully automatic glass size reading device and a Kuka robot to connect the two machines.
Some strong points of the ‘Adelio Lattuada + Knittel Formula’:
- Automatic and integrated online-measuring of the glasses
- Automatic adjustment of the working speed according to the glasses size
- Continuous production for a higher productivity (compared to the "fixed distance" solution)
- Possibility to turn the glass of 90° or 180°
